Tackle it Tuesday~ Fabuloso!

 UPDATE - WARNING:

My friend over at Grateful for Grace shared this: " The stuff looks like Kool-Aid or a yummy drink than other cleaners (since it comes in a variety of colors) so kids were drinking it. Just a warning for you with your sweet little ones."

Always used Dawn dishing washing soap  for everything...washing the dishes, the car & mopping the floors.(OK~ so I'm a little biased ;0)

Until this happened...which I've kept swept everyday with a micro fiber broom/dust broom/ vacuumed all  the time and even spot wiped this new flooring hourly for the past two weeks compulsively, like someone with OCD which I don't think I have?!

Now it's time to suck it up and mop, uncertain if my beloved Dawn would love it as much as I and not dull  my precious new flooring. (nervous laugh and nail biting) I debated...

Until recently my lil' brother girlfriend whose a professional floor cleaner, who happened to hear about my dilemma...then

recommended this-----> PICT0033

She even went out the next day and bought me a bottle (very sweet girl note to J she's a keep-her!)

She convinced me that this stuff works well and she was RIGHT!

Goodbye Dawn mop water, Hello Fabuloso!

Smells great while it disinfects and dries fast and did NOT dull floors~ WHEW!

OK so it wasn't the best "tackled it Tuesday " like this one here....but it was a chore just deciding what to do...geez what women go through!

SIDENOTE:

I won My dh won a great Father's Day Giveaway gift over at "We Are THAT Family" from Kristen! This will be another great tackle of getting dad to fix dinner without mom more often!

Thanks again for this prize (read help)LOL!

Thank You LORD for the help you send even when it's something as simple as cleaning or cooking, it's still matters to You that it matters to us and for this I am BLESSED!

We use Dawn and Bleach water to clean the outside of the house, and to wash cars, and on dishes. I had never heard of using it on floors.

Glad the fabuloso worked so well for you.

Be blessed.

I'll have to try that stuff on my wood floors! They're really in need of a good cleaning, too!

(I went back and read your post of when you put the floor in - GREAT project!!!)

Dawn, Fun! Just FYI: I read an article years ago about Fabuloso and the dangers to kiddos. The stuff looks much more like Kool-Aid or a yummy drink than other cleaners (since it comes in a variety of colors) so kids were drinking it. Just a warning for you with your sweet little ones.
I'm excited your dh won A Can, A Man, A Plan. It looks fun.

love ya!

I've found that a bucket of water with just a touch of vinegar works great on wood floors. A flooring installer recommended it to me several houses ago.

Gets the job done: cheap, no fruity or flowery smell, no chemicals to worry about with kiddos and pets.

The purple fabuloso is my favorite, I have my cleaners on my fridge.....scary to think kids' were drinking it. We used to use this to clean when I worked for a cleaning service in NM.....it was WONDERFUL, best thing for floors IMHO.
