Sunday

Tis the season to be inspired..

In the background the fireplace is lit and the Christmas lights on.

It's a cozy night where all is right and everyone is at peace, this is nice.

This past week, not so much.

As you read I was husband less and I get to missing him so much I can't think of anything witty or even interestingly enough to share, which is why I left the last post up so long.

Btw..are any of you watching Hallmarks Christmas movie mania?

I will be..because my dh loves Christmas time and all the Christmas inspired movies

that come with it.

He loves Christmas time so much so that he drags out the boxes most every year and motivates me to decorate the house and tree.

He gets excited especially when all the Christmas cartoon previews start to come on, like a kid.

He even starts dinner time Christmas trivia games around the table.

Learning this about him has taken more then a decade to sink in..yeah I'm a s-l-o-w learner.

More than that I'm the opposite of him during this time of year which I refer to as over commercialized.

But this year I've made a conscience decision to go with the flow..surprise him, which truly surprises even me!

I would make the first purchases and have.

I would be the cheer spreader.."Woo hoo 25 days till Christmas!"

And while he was out this past week, I was the one who would drag out, set up and let the kids decorate the tree.

When he did get home..his words where
"it's not even Thanksgiving yet.."

( I think he was a little shocked.)

"Uhmmm Honey that's besides the point I did it because of you, for you and to surprise you!

Are you confused after all these years..that I am finally making an effort to be more supportive and more in the spirit of the season..yeah that's what I thought. It's ok..I think I'll let you have the reins back now..it's a role you play beautifully!

I too love this season and have started to play Christmas carols on Halloween night. My family thought I was nuts, LOL.

Hubby goes all out each Christmas and puts up more than 3500 sq. ft. of lights..I have a video of what it looks like, than the next day he changed it around..I need to make another video now.

Blessings, and praise God for His leading you to Intermittent Fasting...

We put ours up the day after Thanksgiving the kids could hardly wait. I'm like you and could wait a bit longer, but hey I just wanted to go with the flow! :)
