THE TRUE STORY OF RAGGEDY ANN

Raggedy Ann is a fictional character created by writer and illustrator Johnny Gruelle. The character became a real doll when Gruelle’s own daughter, Marcella brought him an old hand-made rag doll on which he drew a face.  The doll got its name from a combination of the names of two poems, "The Raggedy Man" and “Little Orphan Annie.”  Sadly, Marcella died at age 13 after being vaccinated at school for smallpox without her parents' consent.

Authorities of that day attributed her death to a heart defect, but her parents blamed the vaccination.   Gruelle became an outspoken opponent of vaccination, and the Raggedy Ann doll became the Symbol of the Anti-Vaccination Movement during the World War I.

The controversy over vaccines remains a volatile issue nearly 100 years later.  D. Gary Young opposes childhood vaccines, as they compromised the natural immunity of the child.  His passion for natural health is one of the catalysts that inspired Gary to produce the World’s Leader in Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils.  Other health advocates like Dr. Len Horowitz also oppose the practice of vaccination.

My testimony: Just last night my little girl was up with a high grade fever..after rubbing her down with a mixture of oils on hand..she was as cool as a cucumber and slept through the rest of the night. Today she shows no symptoms of illness at all...THANK you LORD!

I've also been applying this to my dh for his dry cough every night.. not only does it lessen it to nothing, his snoring disappears. That in itself is a testimony!

I only decided to share this after my friend shared the "true story of Raggedy Ann..I thought there may be others who didn't know and who are on the fence about vaccinations.

(said in my best Paul Harvey's voice)

And now you know the rest of the story..

An oil to help with snoring?! I'd like to bathe my husband in it!

Thank you so much for your comment on my blog. I'm finding that if I hold on tight to God's hand, he will help me do this.

I had a Raggedy Ann that an Aunt made me. I loved her to death - literally.

This is a great post. Glad the oils are so beneficial.
