Well what do u think?!
Isn't our tree just adorable?
And it's just so easy to put up!
Oh I kid (couldn't resist!)
Now you have it...
Opps ...this is my dream tree right next to my dream fireplace..ahhhh...I love it.
Ready?
Your really gonna covet this thing...are you sure you wanna see my tree?
The prettiest "misfit" tree ever! Standing in place of the future fireplaces home... *only so many hours in a day.*
Do I have traditions?
Shhhh their sleeping..
Look at the bottom left side of this pix and you'll see one little head under the sea of a blue blanket.
Our oldest sleeps by the tree every Christmas and has ask to do this every year for as long as I can remember.. now his little brother (whose doing better ;) has joined the tradition this year.
Am I a cool mom or what?!
Now for another tour of misfits here we go..
As U can C there's no ryhme or reason for anything on our tree because I believe more then anything it's for the kids (to look at) ..even the one in me..HOWEVER there will always be a special place for "a Star and His Cross"..everything below is just misfit..that all need rescuing literally!
Almost every ornament has been given to us or won at an ornament exchange party. So I don't see the need to shop for my own..I'm thinking though of doing the same tradition Kristen's does..in giving each kid one on Christmas Eve, I really like that idea. Then maybe the siblings will chill out about whose gonna hang the glitter train..
or this Moose wearing boxers?! and holding a sign "got snow".. weird.
This is the one and only glass ball I have and it's tucked away..safely.
Here's another that has to be refereed over..can you blame them? It's a dog on a "Hog"..sooo cool.
However I'm happy to report I only have this cat to worry about being in my tree..
you have to go visit D... to see what I'm talking about it's truly funny!
Thank you for stopping by I hope you've enjoyed the tour and that you come back for more!
Know this "God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.John 3:17
Because He loves you..
Till next time go here to see more and then link up your tree and let me know!

I have to admit I really said Holy Crap when I saw your dream tree, not that you don't deserve a dream tree, you most certainly do, but I was totally not thinking you lived right in side the Southern Living mag....
I love your tree and that you let your babies sleep by it each night is very sweet!
Okay, lettign the kids sleep by the tree is adorable, I love that! I won't let mine, because it is in the living room which is my sanctuary after they go to bed, but they have miiature trees in their rooms, so that kind of counts...right?
Those dream trees are nice in theory, but I love the traditional trees with meaningful ornaments! I have 4 blown glass ornaments and I search every year for just the right branch. It has to be strong enough to hold the weight of the bulb, high enough so my cat and my kiddo can't reach and i prefer the placement to be right in front of a christmas light so it shines through!
Regardless of how often I visit (because I stink sometimes) I ADORE you! I think your witness is beautiful and your blog is a comfortable place to land. There needs to be more places in the world for people to come and feel at ease and welcome. So you are meeting a need Miss Dawn!
And your comments always make me smile!!
I am SO glad to hear your son is doing better. I have put a notebook by the computer JUST for prayer requests. I realized that I couldn't remember to pray for those that I was saying I would pray for... it sounded like this "Lord, you know the need that I can't remember right now... please meet it" Well, HE DOES know, but I needed to be more mindful. Long story short (waaay to late to say that I know) Trooper is in my prayer journal.
If you ever need me to pray for something specific, my email address is jendt55@yahoo.com
Have a great weekend!!!
And your Christmas ornaments are pretty! Good call on only one glass ball - I have a story to post about that next week.
Love the idea of letting them sleep by the tree. It's beautiful...just like you! Lisa~
My kids would love it if I let them sleep by the tree! I might have to let them do that.
So pretty and I love that you are cool enough to let your kids sleep by the tree. I'm not that cool and my two would NEVER sleep!
ahahahaha you crack me up! and LOVE the dream tree too- I've seen that pic before and craved it.
Its so purty!!! I used to lay under the tree and take naps, so I could look up at the lights. :)
I'm with Happy Mommy, I was like, "Whoa, Dawn YOU HAVE BEEN HOLDING OUT ON US!"
Your tree is very pretty and I love that you let your kid sleep around it! I hope Santa doesn't step on them on Christmas Eve!
Ha..ha.. I like your trees! Your dream tree would be my dream tree also... wow... Sweet dreams to the boys.
Love how the baby is sleeping by the tree! Everything looks fabulous my dear!
I too thought it is so sweet that your kids sleep by the tree. What a precious memory for you all!
I also love letting the kids help with the tree!

It's so cool that your kids sleep by the tree...kind of makes me want to try it with my kids next year!
You had me with your dream tree! Your real tree is so beautiful. Thank you for the shout out!
Merry Christmas!
You're too funny! Your (real) tree is great. And that is awesome that oldest sleeps under the tree. As a kid I was SCARED TO DEATH of Santa, and hate Christmas Eve night!!
