You can go to this website to take a Quiz to see which season your in.

Here's our results:

Based on your score- your interpretation of your marriage indicates your marriage is predominantly in Spring*. In Dr. Gary Chapman’s book The Four Seasons of Marriage you will learn how the emotions of Spring are: excitement, joy and hope. In his book, Dr. Chapman will also explain the attitudes that arise out of these emotions and the actions that are taken and how these actions affect your marriage relationship. This is a season that is very satisfying and Chapman’s advice on this season could be vital to the long term success of your marriage.

What I'm learning after 17+ years of being with the same man..is this " there's no perfect year or number or even secret". The key to having a successful relationship like in any type of avenues, IMHO, is to keep working to make it better..a should be first priority often done last or never at all.

In knowing this I've become optimistic that by my exploring and seeking out the wisdom from these types of "self-help" books and of coarse the WORD..I can and will be able to have a better marriage in a more meaningful way.

You may be thinking or asking "but what about him the "dh" it seems to me that if your doing all the learning and educating then it's only one-sided?"

Not true..whatever is learned and put into practice like an action it always causes a re-action (you know it's the laws of nature) but it's also true and just try it for your self.

In the next minute or right after you finish reading this go to your loved one..don't say anything..but smile.

He will smile back or question you and think "why is she smiling?" RE-ACTION girlfriends it is what it is!

So that's all I've got to share today and as it is I'm needed in the other room..oh and here are these books that are "fictional" but give more marriage principles based on the four seasons. I'm thinking a little investment in these would not but a dent in our "marriage budget" only add to it.

"ohhhh honnnnneeeeyyyy" as I smile at him ;)

And just so you know..my marriage is not "in trouble" however it's always in"maintained mode" which keeps us closer to having a relationship that God desires and can bless.

“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.”- Colossians 3:15

THey sound so good I love Gary Chapman's stuff. So much truth in it and working on a marriage needs to be done from beginning to end you are right in that!
