Here are the rules:
1. Write about 5 specific ways blogging has affected you, either positively or negatively.
2. link back to the person who tagged you
3. link back to this parent post (WHOSE THIS?)
4. tag a few friends or none at all
5. post these rules— or just make up your own :D
How blogging has positively affected me:
- Being a 24/7 SAHM I needed a way to feel connected to the outside world while in this perpetual bliss of motherhood...being here has become a way for me meet and share with some wonderful women I wouldn't have had to opportunity to meet otherwise!
- An Island no longer! Coming from the career field of 10+ years with side benefits of lunch dates; shopping on said lunch dates and having "girl time". It was a hard transition for this social butterfly to not feel locked up in a cage. Blogging is a community of real people connecting where there are values shared!
- Since starting this adventure I've been blessed to experience God's Word and the truth of His Love for us! The theme of this blog is something I believe in and wanted to share with everyone around...turns out it's helping me to stay motivated in seeking a closer walk with Him.
- While posting on different subjects I've found it to be an awesome "sounding board" learning it's not about acceptance as much as the need to express oneself, freely. Having a blog to "talk to" has helped to verbalize, read and even edit what I'm saying...which is teaching me also irl to weigh my words before saying them. Talk about therapeutic as you should see my drafts file ;D lol!
- And finally if I hadn't started blogging I wouldn't know about TIT~WWFMW~ SFMTY or how much fun it could be to share in cleaning the house or decorating a laundry room, who da thunk it?! There are many carnivals out there to link up to and currently I'm looking at participating in the Homemaker Mondays hosted by 11th Heaven's Homemaking Haven as well. These are just a few of the ways I have come across some inspiring blog authors whom have set a virtual table, inviting me to join in sharing ideas while making this SAHM feel like what she has to offer from her home could be helpful to those outside her home as well.
So it just makes sense to be a bloggette in this bloggy world...now dear readers I know this just inspired you to copy and paste those "rules" and share also...so if and when you do, let me know, peas ;D Tell'em I tagged you ;)
Have a great day bloggettes and remember to hug your kids today! Because of them you have something to post about or maybe your like me they are the reasons you get to stay home and do this! :D
