Now don't go throwing anything at me...because my house is clean and all the laundry is done.
It's because a recouping son has been stuck indoors on the mend that the house isn't normal right now.
Btw~ he almost certainly is healing right along as he requested donuts for breakfast.
So since it's pretty day out and the kids are all doing well (THANK YOU JESUS!) we are going to head to town, turn in school work pick up some more then join a play date at the park for a few hours.
In order to go I've got to put myself together a little:
- hair-ck
- makeup-ck ck
- clothes -ck ck ck!
- attitude check- wait a min let me ck...?
Loading up and heading out sounds easy enough but if I don't have a the right attitude you know the Biblical one that's described here:
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.
As I was saying if my attitude isn't one that reflects the above scriptures...than really I could ram sack the whole outing (not to forget) day.
An easy enough tackle but in a World of sin...it takes the extra effort to step in the right direction daily and still I will fall down even before getting off this chair if I don't stop, drop and Pray before going anywhere!
A task that everyone benefits from when we "remember to tackle it".
Here's some other great Tuesday tackle's to check out today:
Now what else do I need to do before we leave ???
I guess the kids should wear something other than undies since we are going out today. Btw this is why the laundry is done ;p and aren't you glad you didn't throw anything at me ;D

I'm glad he's feeling better and you can GET OUT OF THE HOUSE! That's important for us Mommies every once in awhile!
yep, having the right attitude means all the difference. That is something I am working on with the girls, boy their attitudes are pitiful sometimes. Then it makes my attitude stink. Then we have a house full of stinky attitudes.
Great reminder and post!
GREAT tackle! I'm glad your son is healing well. :)
First of all let me just say, I think you are a great example for us. Your always inspiring me to do better and I feel like you are a true Christian who really cares and wants others to do well.
