*PRAYING WITH* my husband not just for him...
You know like most, I pray often for him daily.
We are also a praying family, morning; noon; night; before and during meals "Thank you Jesus it taste um um good" or even when we are in a mad rush to get somewhere as we are backing out of the drive we will say another.
As you can see I'm a believer in prayer without ceasing especially when I'm seeking wisdom in explaining why I'm right and their wrong.
"Take it or leaf it...only after a season."
Our DHF is blessing this marriage in this way since taking the time to go before HIM nightly together before we close our eyes to sleep.
Talk about a peace of mind and the communication that takes places when we are both humble before the throne together!
We don't have a system or ritual in doing this as sometimes we are just barely keeping our eyes open. Most times I'll take the hubby's hand and just start talking with the Lord...sometimes I'll ask hubs to pray for me/us.
Sometimes more often then not I'm the "leader" in this endeavor because let's face it I have the gift of gab and I really like habits like these.
And yes, it used to bother me that he/dh didn't/doesn't take the lead but now it doesn't, as to many times it's been the healing salve and like a crane and ball it knocks down uncomfortable areas of communication between husband and wife.
The best part in doing this, for starters hubs is more aware of my hearts desires and then he also knows of my concerns. In turn he now has the "tools" (speaking man code ) for getting the job done in what is needed in prayer for me. Can you say "get-er done"?! Finally now he knows not to take offense in my emotional outburst because he was privilege to hear "what's up" with his very head strong wifey!
I'm constantly surprised to hear how many spouses don't pray intimately this way?! And Whole heartily Thankful that we do! What do you think, does it work for you?

WOW! I am so in awe of you. I defiantly want to look up to you in this way. We pray but not without ceasing and the family and I have so been trying to do better, thanks for the words and for the inspiration and for being a role model sent by HIM!
Definitely! Things go so m uch beter, both relationship wese and attitude wise when we are in constant prayer and regularyly praying for one another!
This is so great....wonderful testimony to the power of prayer!!!!

I love praying with Prairie Guy. It's when I feel the most connected with him, in every way. We don't often pray before bed, but we do stop often to pray together during the day, before trips, before decisions, when one of us (usually me....) is anxious or one of us (usually him...) is frustrated ;-) God always knits us together in a special way when we pray and it makes us "fall in love" afresh as it opens that window into the other person's innermost being.
