Kristen at "THAT family" blog is hosting a fun carnival which has got me taking some short trips down memory lane today! Thanks Kristen!
Remember those first?
I remember how excited I was to put on the first bow that stayed on top her head that whole day !
You see her baby fine hair didn't grow fast and everything I tried would slide right off such grief for this stylist mom.
It wasn't until her 10 month of hair life that it finally held and while I made a b-line straight for the digital to record our "bow milestone"...
and all she could do was cry?!
Still this did not slow the flashing camera ...you know I didn't put in 12 hrs of labor not to enjoy every bowuitful moment!
As you can see, she decides "well it's making my mommy happy doing silly things" and starts to humor me.
I totally love these moments when all is
"blanky-time quiet" and with two big brothers to compete with she delivers fierce competition. So I invested in three of those pink heavens (count 1...2...3...best piece of mind investment ever!)
"Come on baby pleeeeezzzzzzzz smile for momma just one time so I can show everyone just how happy you were about your first bow!"
And then it happened finally
My only baby girl and her sweet surrendered face of joy with her very first BOW!
Yes~ I'm blessed!!!
(She's now 3 1/4 and wears them well infact she wears all girly things well! I've created a monster!)
Hope you all enjoyed a little splash of pink in your bloggy day!
God Bless you !

Sweet beautiful baby!
Awww.. Purely Precious!
CUTE!!
She's adorable. My toddler puts her bows in the potty. And my 8 year old has deemed herself too old for bows. We are bowless. And I am sad.
Thanks for participating!
She's adorable. I would so style my girl's hair like that if I ever had a girl. There's something totally sweet about little girls' hair sticking up on top like that.
Oh my, there is just nothing like doing the sweet, girly things after having two boys! You did well, our little princess didn't have enough hair to do a bow until she was at least a year and then it looked like a bow on a little bald head--but she wore 'em every day! I'm with you, I worked hard for my girl and by golly she is gonna look like one!
Oh how adorable. I loved blankie time. Ours was a burpa (burpa cloth) but just the same...I loved it.
she's a BEAUTY!
What a sweetheart!
Mine won't even let me comb hers anymore. She' far too big at seven for mama's help. :(
Cute pics.
I had the same problem with bows for my daughter. I finally stopped trying until I could get a rubber band to stay in her hair. We did the head bands instead. Your daughter is so cute!
My last 2 have been boys and Oh, how I miss the bows! We call the ponytails on top of the head 'fountains'.
Miss Busy Body won't keep anything in her hair at this point so I have the bows/clips at the ready though.
Hehe, I did that too! My girls hated it, but I had longed for girls for so long, I couldn't stop myself. She's a cutie, by the way!
She's gorgeous! My first daughter let me put anything in her hair. My baby girl, now though? Rips it out as soon as she realizes it's there. I have to put anything up high so she "can't find it". I like to call that little game peek a bow hide and seek!
I love her hair, she is so so cute :)
What a great moment! That work was worth it, she looks sweet. :)
