Monday

safe is smart but often boring

the past five years we've been building our home, living debt free, raising our family right down the hill/road from all the rents and sending our kids to our small church school.

then there came a fork in the road that had us making new plans..choosing to go another direction then we'd orginally planned.

this meant a new job, in a new city, with a new car, and a new school for our new kids..ha gotcha ya. same kids.

because it's crazy hours are getting to my other half. and it's a job he really doesn't see himself doing for the rest of his life..we are asking this questioin "should we move?"

we think it would be nice to try something new.
go somewhere new.
walk in faith.
find out if there's more to life then what we have here.

other days it seems the "smartest" thing to do is just stay here, and be safe.

ZZZZzzzzzzz

time hasn't been the issue as for not posting, it's more about putting into words these thoughts that are a constant companion.

i hope to one day (SOON) have a blog worthy post about a new journey whether here or somewhere else.

the kids are all doing well in their new school, each enjoying their new friends and teachers and I might add perfect attendances and very good grades.
not without a lot of prayers and tears..it's been a trying 6wks!

Thanks for stopping by..love to all :)

Dawn,

I will pray for discernment for you and your husband! WOW! To me it sounds like you are ready for a new opportunity to reach out and beyond for God!

Sounds like heavy thoughts but not bad thoughts. Always thankful for a job, always thankful for good schools, but 'different' can be hard.

You may remember that we moved to a different community 3 1/2 years ago. It was hard but now? I can see the hand of God in our life, guiding us to a place where He would bless us.

I know you know this but I will say it anyway... trust Him!
