It’s the day before I go see my dear friend for SIX days!
Originally the plan was to have a “girlfriend weekend” getaway as a birthday present to me, turned into dh saying “you may as well go for a few extra days to make it worth the trip..”
I was like.. “really your ok with holding down the fort on top of your already busy schedule just so I can go hang out with a friend..now that is my love language!”
Here’s what I imagine will happen..
I’ll get to see some scenery, and in any case this is my favorite thing to do on any trip :D
Planning to just hang out~cook~take walks~help work on her house that she just moved back into~go worship together ~maybe watch some movies but really no schedules, no itinerary just go sail along.
It’s just another witness to me at how blessed and lovingly cared for I am and really what’s not to be excited about when you think about that!!
