I’ve recently come to realize that I’m free to read again.

And it has been somewhat librating!

As a mom to one I could still manage to read without much interruption..then came #2 shortly after baby #3 and books where something of the past. 

Library day was for the kids section only and when I did want to read it was in the wee hours which doesn’t work when you have a “jealous” dh ;)

I don’t mind this, I’m thankful he wants my company..

Finally coming to a point where I can “trust” the quiet times around here because they aren’t into drawing on the walls or climbing on top of counters anymore well you know what I mean.

I heart reading!

And here’s why.

The one I just finished was fictionally based on the life of the Samaritan women who met Jesus at the well, you know the one who had many husbands! She was also the one earnestly sought to share this with her townsmen and who ended up bringing the town to meet the Christ.

 

Beautifully written in great detail..each chapter pulling me into the next.

All while reminding me  how much I take for granted..even in my prayer life.

 

I just love how books can minister to even the smallest needs..

Now you nose where I’m headed again.

You hear that?

No?

That’s right because it’s quiet time!

And another page turner is calling me :D
