LEAPS to hear my child wants to follow Jesus!
Over these past two years Bunter has expressed the desire to be baptized.
However as his parents we wanted him to understand why it is done..so we had him wait.
Then the Holy spirit promoted our hearts to ask him why he thought he was ready.
Earnestly answering he responded:
"I want Jesus to wash me of my sins so that I can have a new fresh start with HIM and not have to worry about the old stuff anymore."
Isn't this what it's all about..Jesus is our NEW beginning!
Hebrews 10:22 (NIV)
"let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water."
Happening this Friday the day after his mommas Birthday..there's just not a better gift then this from ones son!
