UPDATE:

Well it seems Trey is in Stage TWO of Hodgkins, his Doctor has given them a 93% recovery rate so far and is today ordering a full body CAT SCAN to be certain it's not anywhere else. Radiation is the coarse of treatment unless they find anything new then it may be Chemo that's needed.

Thanks for your prayers..as personally I've felt that peace that surpasses all understanding!

 

Over the past month my confidant (you know the girlfriend who knows you better then you know yourself) and kids best friends as well as extended (church) family we go so far back!

So they really feel more like family.

Anyways, they have been seeking medical advice as to the health concerns to their recently graduated 18 yr old son.

Whose due to start college this month.

Only to receive the answers today to their worst fears.

I'm their sons "Aunt Favorite"..dubbed by him at four years old.

He was the one  we made the mistake of saying "when we have kids they'll never.." and so you can now understand this could be my son 110% of him!

And my heart is sinking as I don't think my mind has fully wrapped around what is really happening..the only thing I know to do is fight back ..really hard..and be strong.. really strong ..in my belief and faith in Christ.

My job as their support system is to point to the cross..

even while all I feel like doing is

just

standing

there

staring at it.

So dear friends, family and blog prayer warriors..help me help him..get down on your knees with me everyday and please
