what your about to "learn this week"

Thanks to Tidy mom my tweet pal whom introduced me

to

 What-I-Learned-This-Week

Because I couldn't think of any other way to make this announcement I thought I would share it this way.

This post is about what your going to learn.

Giving myself some much needed "support" and/or advice that I truly do want (this time ;)

That said..now your going to be "let in" on The Scoop.

(this is where I'm blowing raspberries here and trying to figure out how to start this ...let's just say this is a daunting subject for me.)

It's that "favorite time of the year" when your palms sweat and the tension in your neck won't leave until the final balance of "pay in or pay out" is revealed in your Tax return.

Am I right or am I right?

I'm happy to report we are done with ours and we got all of it coming back, again. Praise the Lord!

It is helping us to have our home based business  MonaVie Inc. the juice we love!

So now because of our returns..there's an opportunity for me to proceed with an overdue "deduction".

(Hopefully you know code for what I'm speaking on  as I'm trying to keep the creepy surfers out of here?!)

Here's the deal..back in elementary school when friends were all going through their "training stages" yours truly was praying for a reason to buy that garment.

In fact she prayed so much that when her freshman year of High School rolled around she went from see nothing to a C-something.

I'll never forget the look on the boys faces who used to sing this little V~day ditty to me:

"Roses are red

Violets are black

why is your ch_st

as flat as your back?"

Most classmates thought I had a special procedure done over the summer while visiting the big city, HA! I was never that lucky.

FYI: Power of prayer! It really works!

Problem is I prayed "over the top".

18 years later I'm still reaping the consequences of those answered prayers (careful what you pray for) which has now become my "yoke" so to speak.

Now I'm seeking relief from having to shove down; stuff in and/or worry about popping out daily.

Yes~ I'm trading those days in so that I may be as active as I like without having to wear three sports contraptions yes..count 1,2,3  when I jog or run and unlike before I hope to  feel the burn in my legs and not because my circulation is being cut off to the rib cage, which is under there somewhere?!

O' the joy it will bring to be able to buy something with  buttons! Without fear of busting one.

And yes for all the "naturalist" peace of mind I've tried many things to help hide unnecessary cracks but really how good does a turtle neck look in July?!

It's to the point now that I cringe every morning when I have to get fully dressed, and even then I'm mentally  ticking off the minutes till freedom again but even then  my neck is so pinched up from hauling me around all day that inevitability I get terrible headache for hours.

I'm tired.

Tired enough to let someone else take the weight of it off my shoulders.

I'm ready, so ready.

March 23rd could not come soon enough (original appt here in town) so I booked yet another one this Thursday an hour away..for consultation and pre-determination.

Recently I've learned that I'm not exempt..for what works for others..it may be what works best for me as well. I've also come to understand that when a "life boat" comes along and tosses you a life vest..you should remember that you prayed for it and regardless of the size; shape or condition it's in, you can grab onto it knowing HE is still in charge..even if that boat takes you where you would lest expect it.

Now are you surprised *frequent bloggers buds* by what you've learned today? Knowing that I DDDesire to C something less..really, I'd like to hear your thoughts.

If this is your first time to stop by sorry for the codes I'm not usually this hyper-sensitive!

Do you know someone who had good or bad result from this?

First I've got to say "good job" on speaking in code! LOL

I just want to offer you my support, no pun intended. My oldest dd is 21 and is in the same boat you are in!! same size and all - and she has wanted to do this for a few years - she too gets headaches a lot, and I'm sure it's related.

We never had the $$ to let her do it, plus I was worried about it with her young age - but I know she will probably have this done one day, one way or another! So I say congrats to you and hope you share a picture of you in your button up shirt in a few months!!

I'm so excited for you!!

Oh, honey! Go for it! I had it done in 2004 and that is the only reason I am back-pain free today! I was a DDDD and now I'm a large C. Plus, it helped the girls stay perky through 2 more pregnancies!

A girl from my church had it done and her back pain eased up a lot. Will be praying for a easy recovery.

My husband's cousin suffered from a similar problem, and also sought reduction. I haven't heard anything negative about it, and I believe that she was satisfied with the results!

I am still laughing at the V-Day Ditty!

You do what you think will make you feel better. I know a few women that have had it done and one was a nurses aide and her back/shoulder felt so much better. -she could do her job without being in so much pain.

Go for it!

I've known several who have had "IT" done and none regretted it. So... go for it!!!

Loved (!!!) your codes. Very fun to read!

Blessings!

LOL. I have considered this. I was a 34H when nursing. I know this b/c I had a certain under*garment especially made. Fortunately I have returned to a DDesireable size. :0) But I would LOVE to C a more flattering size. But I'm afraid of pain. So there you have it.

Good luck! I'd love to hear how it goes. And thanks for linking in today! I hope you will make it a weekly occurrence. :-)

Goodness, I say GO FOR IT! I don't think people realize just how uncomfortable and painful these things can get.

Wow! I cannot say I can empathize because, well, I was not so graciously endowed! When I was pregnant last year, I did the happy dance because I was filling out a B. Unfortunately, I went shopping the other day because I needed a new "undergarment" and had to buy an A...and it is too big. How sad. Too bad they don't have a donor program!

Seriously, I have a couple of friends that have had it done and have been ecstatic over the results and how much better they felt! Good luck!

Just wondering if you could send some my way, cause they are barely there. :)

I am THERE - well, almost there - and I support you 100%. I am a lare built person and have always thought the top half was proportionate to the bottom. But I am beginning to think diproportionate would be so much easier on my back.

PRAYING FOR YOU!!!
