No plans other then to blow my nose occasionally, feed the kids as well as refuel the fire every so often.
Otherwise you'll find me sitting in front of telly watching FOX news with millions of others whom are doing the very same on this historic day..and wondering why all those crazy thousands of thousands are milling around in DC. Don't they know you get "front row seats" in your own home?
This day will bring the feeling of nostalgic moments for those who were there the day Kennedy stepped in. Everyone whom was there recalls the excitement in the air and they say it felt just like this day. I think I'm beginning to understand.
I will say it's not because of who is stepping in this time..that will make me emotional..no it's because of past events that lead to this moment and to the future ones that will cause change in the ways we have always done things.
Most importantly it's because even while change can be intimidating..it can also be very very good.
GOD BLESS our NATION and it's LEADERS whom lead!
And join me in playing hooky as it's the first and last time it will be this day!

I hear ya sister! Enjoy your front row seats! :o)
I am praying for Obama and his family. These are scary times to take the leadership of this country.
God bless he and his family, and God bless America.
A very important day, and I probably saw more of it than all those crazy people in Washington D.C. :)
I know it's exciting and all to be there, but I'm with you...let's stay inside and be warm!
Well said Dawn. I worked all night and wanted to stay awake to see history made...but laying in a warm bed with a front row seat I drifted off to dream land.. upon awakening nothing is lost History is being made all day. God bless America and help us all to support "change".
I admit it, I teared up a bit.
