Tuesday

on the brighter side..

It's usually a tackle day for me here at the home front however today I'm tackling helping/teaching/assisting 12 kids finish their hand towels for Christmas gifts..the one below is an example of what I'm talking about.

When done I'll post some pix of proof that you can teach grades 3rd-8th how to crochet, even boys.

It's fun seeing them take an interest in this..that it's good for the small/fine motor skills is a bonus but it's also proving to be an quite project which the teachers love!

So that's how I'm rolling today.

Then tonight there's a mom's homeschool Christmas party and usually I host these events but there are two other mom's whom *I dearly love* who insisted they put this thing on..Yay! They are pulling out all the stops..so really all I have to do is assist with the food and take it easy..it's gonna be nice :) God knew I'd have my hands full enough with my emotions to plan ahead and take care of this..Thank you Lord!

On another note last night I made my first Advent calender..it turned out nice enough just didn't finish it because I was easily distracted by the very loud impact music (and I'm deaf) along side the craft jokes about balls with giggles/snorts and everyone was constantly borrowing (their stuff from me) as I devoured the shared snacks. Yeah, I lacked a plan when I began..so this project is still under construction, promise to let you see it when it's done.

And in closing I'm sure all the prayers are the reason I'm able to see the sunshine today..thank you!

The party sounds nice. I hope that you have a great time.

And yeah, we would joke about balls and act silly too. Our family is special that way also!

Dawn, You are a patient woman to be teaching that many children how to crochet! Sorry, I haven't commented in so long. Life got crazy! I hope Trooper is doing better.
