less self..

It started in the very beginning of Creation..

Genesis 2:18 (KJV)

"And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him."

And so He did..then Adam realized this..

"This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man." Genesis 2:23 (KJV)

So now because this is when "self" began as before it was just him (Adam) which is why then he realized he was not "one" but instead "one of another.." and thus began the process of being selfless.

Even Today the process of "selfless" is being demonstrated by our Savior JESUS Christ by Him through His Salvation for us !

“Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.”- John 6:35

Really a free meal..who passes this up?! And He did the preparation Himself..what LOVE!

So while traveling on life's road today let's remember this no matter where we are (even as a SAHM) ..we were not created to "go it alone" let's embrace others whom drop by in real life or in this place "meet and greet" bloggy land because it is good!

This may also help to relieve the issues of feeling like a "blog~acholic". Ha! after this study I'm sure I'm really just cultivating relationships!

Thank you Jesus for giving us each other and for teaching us to be "less self".

{Now it's my kids turn for me to be "selfless" with, as I promised the little hams..we would bring out the Christmas stuff and put lights up "all over da house momma!"}
