There's a story behind this wonderful looking confection.
I'll hit replay for you:
One Friday evening..after some shopping Mom (me) decides to "order out" from a local pizzeria.
Kids happy, dad happy..mom is very happy because she doesn't have to cook dinner!
Mom goes to pick up one LG pizza for $8.99.
When she is handed the box it felt very light,(this is supposed to be a large loaded down with cheese feeling) she opens said box and sees only 8 slices of stale looking day old pizza. She thought to herself "when the cardboard box looks tastier~ there's something wrong with this picture?".
Mom makes a decision to return the cardboard dinner back to it's original owner and ask for her c/c back then Mom says "no~ thank you".
She then heads home with a plan to prove to her family it was the best decision and proceeds to make a pizza that will be a household name from here on out.
Easy Pizza Recipe:
1 can diced Italians seasoned tomatoes (dumped into processor)
2 cups of sliced & diced veggies
3 cups of mozzarella cheese
All layer on Pillsbury doughboy croissants (pre-baked 12mins )
Cook until the cheese is melted to perfection.

It felt so good to not settle for second best or less in this case and make something so much better.. even though I would have loved to have kicked up my heels the rest of the night..it was a happy ending~ my favorite kind!

Great topping, I mean topic to post about..hehhe. I don't know how many times this has happened to us as well. I could have swore the crust was a giant cracker it was soooo thin!
