Because she feel in love with it at the
Texas Living History Day
The lady manning the "good ol'days toy" station was concerned about a future meltdown when it was time to leave the doll behind as she saw how attached Sissy was becoming to this rag doll. I'm proud to say it didn't happen ;)
You can say I encouraged her that I could make one that looked more like her, can you tell she liked that idea?

Ohhhh sounds fun and if they aren't too hard to make I might like a tutorial for this homeschool household ;)

I'm afraid if I tried that, I would NOT even resemble a doll! ;-)
And SHE is too cute!!
Good Luck and I'm sure she'll love it. Means so much more when it's made with moms loving hands...still have the dolls my mom made me. Means more to me now than it did when I was too young to understand that her time was worth more than her money. Can't wait to see it.
I can't even sew a pillow case!!
Yes, DO share! I'm hoping to take up sewing myself. :)
As for your question, I don't really know what's wrong with me. Hopefully, when I see a neurologist next week, I'll have more info! Thanks for thinking of me though!
Wonderful! Please share your finished doll!
I can't sew to save my life! Cute doll, adorable girl!
What a cute doll. I am having my first granddaughter in Jan 09. So I will be able to make things like this again. Thanks for sharing the ideal.
good luck; I can't wait to see the finished product!
My m/i/l makes these clown dolls for every newborn grandchild. She also made them for a charity years ago. She still gets orders.
I can't wait to see the results! What a good mommy you are. Thanks for joining Homemaker Mondays and I'll see you next week!
Wow! Good for you. On both counts of not giving in to the temptation AND for the promise to make one. That is the exact opposite of what I probably would have done. I shoule be more like you.
