With school in the air, I thought it only appropriate to shared this photo of me as a senior mentor along side the mascot and tykes I would read with every week. That mascot was such a clown and never took reading seriously, oh I kid:D
You can't see it well but I do have a puffy 80's ponytail fried with the spray sun-in & winged bangs to top it off.
And back when wire glasses became finally fashionable I loved them~plus that outfit was one I put together with a size 23in belt (and I thought that was BIG then?!) white gap shorts and checkered shirt that my boyfriend then (dh now) later called it the "butter bread company" shirt and here I thought I looked chic. ;D
So with that...now I'm guessing the kids and mascot where standing there there thinking...
"WHY is she wearing the bread man's shirt?"

I used to use good ol' Sun-In too! I thought I was soooo cool. You look so cute! The mascot is a bit scary, though.
So cute!! I loved it when the big kids would come and read to us little kids. We were in awe of how cool they were!

Yikes; Glad I missed most of the 80s; I was only around for 11 months of it and I'm lucky enough to not remember a minute of it! Yay! Sure is fun to look at pictures from then, though; lol.
