Knowing he's a good lil' artist but now apparently others think so to, as he placed with a "Blue ribbon"!
I didn't know he placed or even that his teacher turned in this, until afterwards so it was just as big a surprise for me when my blog sister sent me a picture via email saying "Yay (Boy's name)!" Uhn? Was my initial reaction.

Later~ I asked him about it and he explained he did three pieces for this fair but could only turned in one. He didn't know he received blue ribbon or that I've even posted about it, which will be a nice surprise when I show him I've displayed it on my blog. ;0)
You know, after homeschooling him for 3 1/2 years and seeing much of his art work, I never thought it would be recognized by anyone other then this very proud momma!
Thank you Lord for this nice surprise!
Here's a picture of the artist in question. (caught while playing "dress up to please his sister" as he's trying to run from the camera. I have proof of his silliness for the much later...wife! LOL)

Congrats to him! That is very exciting. It's those little assurances that really build up kids. As for that pictures---you must save it for his wedding day---and place it in a very prominent place!
