We spent ours at a state park called Enchanted Rock
Our church family meets with one of the "sister churches" close by and does an annual gathering here for worship and potluck picnic, then we all "take a hike." Makes for an nice outing!We didn't hike to the top this time, as the little ones seemed content to climb rocks or ride on top of daddy's shoulders.
Taking a trail hike at the base instead of UP the "old bald man's head"(per our oldest nickname for the "rock").
Now he IS our billy goat he wanted to climb UP, so off he went.
Nothing to steep or to high he will climb it,
in twice the time it takes someone else once, no joke.
It's really a neat place to visit as there's always a new trail you didn't do before and it also has caves through it. (None for me,TY!)
As you can see from left to right: Daddy; Sissy; Me; Lil'Bro had a great day!I imagine this is what heaven will be like everyday...time with our loved ones and enjoyment in God's provisions for us!
Psalm 16:11
" You have made known to me the path of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand. "

Looks like a fun day! The weather was perfect this past weekend for this type of outdoor activity. Unfortunately, we were busy ripping up carpet!
Blessings!
