Coincidence? I think NOT!

Here's a post about how sometimes when we don't have a clue, God can still be at work within you!

I grew up around a small town in the beautiful Hill Country, where most who don't know your name will say "I've seen you around".

It's small but growing more quickly each day.

As a teen I worked for the local theatre with another girl named "C".
She and I clicked instantly, she was a few years older than I and happened to be the shift leader on the evenings I worked there.

She also went to the same High school and was about to graduate top of her class.
"The brain" in the group, smart as a whip and didn't get goofy around the boyz.
So when she graduated and went off to college for awhile I didn't see much of her.

Years went by and we eventually met up again and again sharing weddings, lunches with mutual friends (while I would share how God was influencing my life in one why or another at the time) and of course baby showers. Seeing each other randomly here and there in our small town.

Well, recently I was having dinner with family in a local eatery, when I noticed "C" on the other side of the room with her family.

After eye contact I went over for a quick hello and update on family life, this is how we always are...catching up at the moment, while I love good friendships like these!

She asked if I was working and I shared with her a little on the MonaVie juice with 19 fruits.
I offered to meet up with her and share in more details. So numbers, emails and website was exchanged and then we set up a date to meet.

As I walked away I thought it's really good to easily pick up where we leave off each time, no guilt or wishing you'd spent more time together.
We met this past Sunday afternoon and since then I've been in awe of something she shared with me instead. After going over the uploaded videos and giving her a shot of juice, she decided to buy a bottle and she would be interested in becoming a distributor. (This is encouraging) The best news I could receive had nothing to do with the business of mine, instead the business of the Lord (the one I usually serve first when I'm not being stubborn.)
As we were wrapping up to leave, she explained that much has happened in her marriage and life that was a "God thing"...I couldn't help but ask her, "C" you keep referring to the "God thing" what's this all about? Usually in the past it's me referring to Him and sharing...I'm curious when you made this discovery for yourself?"

She then explained this, "It all started with you, Dawn. During a lunch one time you shared with me the "Power of praying wives" by Stormie O'Martin. I was at the end of my rope with mine and thought well if it worked for you why wouldn't work for me?"

If you haven't already figured this out I'm gonna tell you that I was beside myself with joy!
To think that each time we met up I had served the Lord's purpose in her marriage by sprinkled seeds, coincidence? I think NOT!

" how blessed you will be,
sowing your seed by every stream,"
Ish 32:20a
Thank you Lord, for friendships that Bloom!
Dawn :0)
