Thursday

slower traffic " keep right "

 Our family has been living life in the left fast lane these past few months. And needless to say this weekends campout couldn't come at a better time.

To take a break here at Camp Eagle with some of our church family is just the lane I want to be in.

Because you gotta know I'm really looking forward to sleeping in tent with all the kids who will likely sneak in our two man foam made bed during all hours of the night (because they heard something)..and who doesn't like it when the temp drops down (30-40's) overnight and then your bladder decides it will explode if you don't leave the warmth of your sleeping bag to relieve yourself. You know what I'm talking about.

  Plus I really love waking up all sore like while trying to figure how to get a hot cup of tea without a microwave. Not complaining peeps just stating facts ;0) Oh I kid, it will great fun..right?

Sides there's nothing a hot fire, s'mores and starlite sky won't remedy.

But more then that the time to sit still and know HE is God is what "keeps me (us) right."

What's comical is my dh and I are more excited about all of this then our kids guess you could say we both realize a change of scenery and time to keep right with the Lord is indeed needed..

There we plan to enjoy fellowship; time of worship; cooking out together and a 15 mile hike.

Plus the colors of fall are happening all over, so I imagine it will be supergorgeous! ( my word)

I assure you pictures will be posted.
And

I encourage you to take some time outside to sit quietly reflecting on His goodness in your life.

Psalm 19:1

The heavens declare the glory of God;

the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

Be Blessed

It wasn't sounding like much fun until you mentioned s'mores. I just adore s'mores! I look forward to the pictures! Lisa~
