Strange title but catchy right?
This afternoon as I was driving home from retrieving the 10yr son..he asked me this:
"mom do you wish you were in a plane right now?"
Nope..
"why are you scared?"
No..I just don't wish I was in a plane right now.
"Well.. I wish I was."
Why?
"Cause then I could see that big blue sky."
(This is usually when I turn up the radio or some other topic starts, instead I indulge him to continue this conversation..yeah sometimes I'm patient like that.)
You can see the sky from right here why do you need a plane? (indulging)
"Because it would be way up past the clouds higher than the tallest sky scrappers..in a jet plane and then I could parachute out ( his voice takes on an accent similar to that of Huck Finns voice..) floating like a camel with butterfly wings."
(I'm quite..listening to see where this goes..did I mention he's got quite the imagination?)
(His voice changes now to "another character" with an Indian accent.)
"Why would you jump out of a jet. Higher than a sky scrapper where people are working you would scare them floating down like a camel with butterfly wings?!"
(back to Huckelbery's voice..very slang like)
"ain't you eva wanted to do somethung adventurous?"
(back indian boy accent)
"and what happens when you land on the ground?"
(Huckleberry's voice)
"well my butt'd still be burnen the next day."
(indian boy accent)
"should have listened to your grandma."
THE END
Me laughing.
Sometimes when he doesn't know it I am blessed by his sense of humor and creativity..I think I'm going to have him write a book of funny short stories for days when I'm not laughing.

very catchy and very cute! You do need to write a book! ;)
Hey, blog question... how do you do strikethroughs in your post? I can't figure it out! Thanks!
LOL, I love that it became a conversation between two characters!
Or (with all the different characters) a playwright!
That is hilarious! How creative!
some conversation that!!!!!.........
I love little boy stories!
That is so cute! Little boys are such a sweet and oftentimes, humorous blessing!
