Joining Kristen in her endeavor to laugh it up a little ( OK maybe a lot!)
This seems the perfect way to "display" photos that will likely never see the inside of an album, because for myself digital is never ending.
Why these?
Mother's day is on my mind and around the corner...plus mom's Birthday is on the same weekend this year and we have planned a girls day out for her.
These pix are of a "first for us" Cruise we went on three years ago.
I wish I could say it was dreamy the whole time with no kids, meals to prepare or house to clean (that was nice) but I missed my family time and it is also hard for a bunch of hens in tight quarters, ykwim?
However for the first time, since living together, we all managed to get along, you kinda have to do that when your sharing a room the size of a pantry, plus your out in the middle of "the big blue"! Suffice to say we all came back in one piece and noone got tossed overboard!
Here's some of the memories the DHF has given me!

Mom and I ..
Mom Sis and I...
and then just I!

Oh, how fun! I love the pictures. (My first peak at your pretty face!)
My mom and twin and I did the same thing a few years ago. Tight quarters is putting it nicely! We bonded and argued-it was awesome. My sister snuck out to the casino while we were asleep (real party-goers) and came back in stinking of smoke but screaming she'd won $500 in nickels. Of course, it was only $50 because math has never been her strong point!
Thanks for participating. It's so fun!
LOL~ I love it!
That sounds like so much fun! You have a lovely family!
We took 2 of our kids with us on Caribbean cruise. Initially, we had all of us in 1 room. EVERYONE said get 2 rooms. I fought it & then finally gave in. Thank goodness! It was fun though! Looks like you enjoyed yourself too!
For your daily dose of vintage goodness & a bit of silliness, stop by Confessions of an Apron Queen, the home of Vintage Thingies Thursdays.
My sister and I would have been drawling on the floor, we have a close reationship, but not one that can stand close quarters...we need space, lots of it.
It sounds like a wonderful trip, what beautiful pictures of you all.
Your a brave woman. No matter how much I love my Momma and Sisters I don't know if I could do that in such close quarters. I think I would need my own cabin.
Sounds like fun! It's great that you have that bond with your family. I can relate to missing the hubby and kids though.
Sounds fun! I live across the country from my mom and sisters and would love to do something like that...although I KNOW there would have to be some seperate rooms!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Nice to meet you and I'll be back!
Love the pics sounds like a great trip!!!!! Hugs, Heather S.
